Parents of missing Fleming Co. teen talk about search for son

FLEMING COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - The parents of a missing teenager are speaking out for the first time since his disappearance.

Ricky Hamilton, Junior, 15, hasn't been seen since Saturday when he and his father split up while hunting in the Tilton area of Fleming County.

"We split up," says Ricky Hamilton, Sr. "I went in one holler. He went into another. We were supposed to meet. I've never seen him since ... his last words to his dad were 'Daddy, I'll meet you on the other end'."

A bloodhound from Tennessee joined the search Tuesday morning.

As the search continues, Hamilton's parents are pleading for his safe return.

"Please bring him home ... bring him home ... I know he's in God's hands ... God is in control," said Kathy Hamilton.

Kentucky State Police helicopters arrived at the scene Tuesday afternoon. They will help search for him by air.
