Perry Co. fire ruled double homicide

PERRY COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - The Kentucky State Police say the death of two individuals found inside of a home in Perry County on April 19th is now being investigated as a double homicide.

Firefighters found the bodies of a man and woman at a home on Couchtown Road in the Busy Community.

According to family members Christina Thacker was at Garfield Herald's home Friday night when it caught fire. Firefighters found his body outside of the home while fighting the flames. Thacker’s body was found inside the home.

Police say they are still investigating what caused the fire.

Police say they are now investigating their deaths as a double homicide.
