Pitino visits tattoo parlor

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Louisville coach Rick Pitino may have promised his players he'd get a tattoo after they won the national men's college basketball championship, but a television station that caught him coming out of a tattoo parlor reports he's not there yet.

WDRB reported Thursday that Pitino visited a Louisville tattoo parlor but he didn't get inked.

Pitino says he was just there to support assistant coach Vinnie Tatum while Tatum was getting one.

But Pitino told the station he's "definitely going to get it done."

Pitino told his players he'd get a tattoo after the Louisville Cardinals won the championship April 8.
