Police: Wife shoots husband in Laurel County

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) -- A man had to be airlifted to the hospital after police say his wife shot him.

It happened Wednesday night at a home off Highway 3630 in the East Bernstadt community.

State Police say a husband and wife got into an argument, and the wife shot him multiple times.

We're told the man has been airlifted to UK Hospital, but his condition is not known.

State police say they're interviewing the wife. So far, there's no word on any possible charges.
