LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A man accused of breaking into multiple cars in a Lexington neighborhood is on his way to jail.
Police think the man broke into several cars along Mt. McKinley way, near Man o'War Boulevard.
An alert neighbor spotted a suspicious vehicle sitting on the street. That neighbor then saw what appeared to be people breaking into cars. That person called police.
We caught up with a possible victim who spoke to us about the on-going frustration.
"And actually see, my doors opened already," said Matt Means as he inspected his car.
It's something he says happens a lot, and adds his mothers vehicle has been broken into at least twice before.
"Very aggregating. Makes you feel unsafe. Makes you wonder if the next thing is trying to break into your house or if you have kids at home, it makes it unsafe for everybody else." Means said.
Officers quickly responded to the area and began searching for suspects. Police found a man, hiding between two homes on Mt. McKinley. That man, who officers identified as Justin Milton, is charged with receiving stolen property.
Police tell WKYT they are confident he is one of the men involved in the break-ins.
