Police investigating deadly shooting involving deputy jailer

Police have released the names in a deadly shooting in Magoffin County.

They say Johnathan Watkins shot Deputy Jailer Albert Bloomfield.

We're told the shooting happened Sunday afternoon near downtown Salyersville.

Watkins is currently held at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.
