Police make quick arrest after Bourbon County gas station robbery

PARIS, Ky. (WKYT) - Paris Police made a quick arrest after a Friday night gas station robbery.

Police say just after 10p.m. Friday night a man walked into the Speedway on South Main Street and demanded cash from the clerk, implying he was carrying a knife.

They say the man then grabbed money from the drawer and fled out the front door of the store on foot.

Paris police investigated the incident overnight and were able to find information leading them to the home of 27-year-old Chase Puckett.

Police located Puckett just after 3am Saturday and after some questioning he admitted to police that he had committed the robbery.

Puckett was arrested without incident and is currently lodged in the Bourbon County Detention Center. He is charged with Robbery 1st.
