RICHMOND, Ky. (WKYT) - We spoke with employees of two stores that were burglarized about two weeks ago in Richmond. They say they had a couple come in, a man and a woman, asking strange questions, specifically about the store's video surveillance.

That was the line of questioning at Bella's Cupcakes. Then, the pair went next door a short time later to ask similar questions.

"They had come in the night before about 10:30 asking one of my stylists about some of the services that we offer. And then asked to use the restroom, came right back and then left. Kind of weird," said Kara Swartzbaugh, owner of Kolor Kreations.

Swartzbaugh says her business has never been targeted by thieves before, or any of the surrounding ones for that matter.

"They stole about five hundred dollars in product. And also got some money," said Swartzbaugh.

In an effort to find the thief or thieves, Richmond City Police posted a picture online, saying the vehicle, a white Mustang convertible with a brown top, has been seen at several of the burglaries. They clarify that the enlarged photo isn't the suspects car, just what the car looks like.

"I just hope they get what's coming to them," added Swartzbaugh.

Again that photo is on the Richmond City Police's Facebook page. A link is posted below.
