Police say wet roads played a role in deadly crash

A man is dead after crashing his motorcycle on a Kentucky highway.

State Police say James Busey's family reported him missing around 8:30 p.m. Friday.

Busey, 61, was found unresponsive near the intersection of Highway 42 and Latta Road in Trimble County about an hour later.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police believe Busey was headed east on Highway 42 when he lost control on a curve, traveled 200 feet and crashed.

State Police say they think wet roads played a role in the crash.
