Police searching for escapee in Clinton County

CLINTON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Kentucky State Police are searching for a man they say escaped from the Clinton County Jail on Monday night.

Bobby Pillar, 33, of Albany, was being treated for a cut at the front of the facility when police tell us he assaulted a deputy jailer and ran away. The deputy jailer has minor injuries.

Pillar is a white male, 6'3", 220 pounds, with blue eyes and red hair. He was last seen in Albany, and is believed to be living in a home on Ky. Highway 1590 in Clinton County. He has also lived recently in Pulaski County.

Pillar was serving time for flagrant non support.
