Police say that 31-year old Sarah Hart was 10 to 11 weeks pregnant when she was murdered by a stranger. Police say that Hart was strangled to death by 28-year old Christopher Allman.
A police report says that Allman admitted to killing Hart. He's charged with murder, kidnapping, robbery and tampering with evidence.
Two search volunteers found Hart's body in a tree-line along busy highway 127 in Russell County. The mother of three went jogging Thursday morning with her sister. Hart decided to go back to her car when she started feeling ill, but told her sister to keep going. When her sister got back to the car, Hart was nowhere to be found.
State Police say that they identified Allman as a suspect after getting multiple tips throughout the day on Thursday.
Allman is being held on a $1,000,000 cash bond. State Police say Allman could be facing new charges.
