President watches over debate

DANVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - As the world's attention turns to tonights Vice Presidential debate in Danville a former president is keeping a watchful eye.

Centre College is home to new 12 foot tall statue of Abraham Lincoln.

The statue honors the link between the 16th President and Centre.

His former law partner was a Centre alumnus who loaned his law books to a young Abraham Lincoln back in 1826.

The statue even is wearing a media credential for tonights debate.
