A big honor for the National Champions today. The Kentucky Wildcats are in Washington D.C. where they met with President Obama.
The teams visit included a tour of the White House and a nationally televised celebration speech lead by President Obama himself, who openly admitted he made a mistake when he chose the North Carolina Tarheels to win it all this year.
"This was the fourth year I filled out my bracket on ESPN and what I've learned is, if I get the right picks I look like a genius, but if things go the other way, then a team like Kentucky gets to come to my house and remind me in person that I was wrong," the President said.
Following the President's speech congratulating the cats he received a Kentucky jersey of his own with the number one on the back.
Today's visit to the White House is the Cat's second brush with a U.S. President. Just last week the team took pictures with President Bill Clinton at the Joe Craft Center during his visit to Lexington.
