MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - The family of a missing teenager is receiving more help in their search for her.

We've been tracking the disappearance of 18-year-old Brookelyn Farthing of Madison County since this weekend. Police say she went missing after a house fire in Berea.

Her stepfather tells us police used helicopters while searching for her Tuesday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Tina Parks says her son is friends with Brookelyn, and she wanted to do something to help, so she's set up a reward fund.

"I don't have a connection. I'm just a concerned parent just trying to help," said Tina Parks, who is the organizer of the reward fund. "I know if it were one of my children, I would want my community to help."

Donations to the 'Brookelyn Farthing Reward Fund' can be made at any People's Bank branch. We are told the reward is to track down more information on her whereabouts.
