LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A Scott County ambulance was involved in a crash in Lexington.
The ambulance was transporting a patient when the crash happened at South Limestone & University Avenue.
The driver of a van told police that he heard the ambulance approaching from behind, but couldn't see it. He went to move for the emergency vehicle to pass, but instead, ended up pulling into the path of the ambulance.
A Fayette County ambulance came to transport the patient on to the hospital.
No one was hurt as a result of the crash, but it is causing a traffic impact in that area.
