A senior advisor to Lexington Mayor Jim Gray has announced his resignation.
Geoff Reed's last day will be April 27. He's been a senior advisor since Mayor Gray began his term at the beginning of 2011.
The Herald-Leader reports Reed has taken a position at Congressman Ben Chandler's Lexington office as a director.
