Suspected drug dealers found a surprise at their front doors Thursday morning.

The Whitley County Sheriff's Office arrested seven people on drug trafficking charges Thursday.

They also arrested an eighth person on a theft charge.

The Sheriff’s Department was assisted by Constable Lonnie Foley, Constable Andy Moses and Kentucky State Police Trooper Dave Lassister and Trooper Jay Sowders.

• Johnny Satterfield, age 34, Adkins Loop, Williamsburg, KY, charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 2nd degree.

• Danny Whitehead, age 52, Wagon Wheel Road, Williamsburg, KY, charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 2nd degree.

• Phyllis Whitehead, age 50, Wagon Wheel Road, Williamsburg, KY, charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 2nd degree.

• Michael Leach, age 25, Adkins Loop, Williamsburg, KY, charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 2nd degree.

• Judith Meadors, age 52, Boyd White Road, Williamsburg, KY, charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree.

• Melissa Newberry, age 34, Chestnut Street, Williamsburg, KY, charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree.

• Diedra Partin, age 52, Brush Arbor Church Rd., Williamsburg, KY, charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 2nd degree.

• Kenneth Barnhill, age 46, Williamsburg, Kentucky, charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking.
