Skinned animals found in Danville park

BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Police say charges could be filed after four skinned raccoons were found in a Danville park.

Police found the carcasses at the 6th Street baseball park Wednesday evening. They say the animals appear to have been killed elsewhere, and skinned for their pelts.

Raccoon hunting season in Kentucky is from October 1st through February 28th. If identified, the person who dumped the carcasses could be charged with criminal littering.
