LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Some Lexington residents woke up without water Christmas morning after an overnight water main break.
A spokesperson for Kentucky American Water tells WKYT that the line broke sometime overnight on Apache Trail. She says right now they are estimating between 40 - 50 customers are affected by the break.
Crews have been out all night attempting to repair the break, which officials say appears to he weather related.
Officials with Kentucky American Water say they expect their crews to be out for several more hours, but they say they hope to have the break repaired sometime Wednesday afternoon.
