Somerset man hit, killed by train

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Officials tell us a person has died after a train crash in Pulaski County.

It happened around 8 p.m. Tuesday night.

The coroner tells us a 29-year-old Somerset man was hit and killed by the train just south of Trinity Springs Park in Somerset, near the West Columbia Street crossing, on a Norfolk Southern railway.

The man has been identified, however, we're told family has not been notified, so his name is not being released.

At this point, the coroner says foul play is not suspected.
