TEXAS (AP) - A winter storm could be affecting a lot of travelers headed to their Thanksgiving destinations Tuesday and Wednesday in the U.S.

The storm that's already being blamed for at least eight deaths in the West, has brought sleet and slippery roads to parts of Texas and snow to southwestern Oklahoma, and is headed for the South and East.
