Students from Asian nations dominate international test

An exam given to 15 year-olds worldwide shows U.S. students lagging in math and just average in science and reading.

WASHINGTON (AP) - An exam given to 15 year-olds worldwide shows U.S. students lagging in math and just average in science and reading.

And American students failed to place in the top 20 in any category.

The top scoring teens are in Singapore, South Korea, Japan, and Hong Kong.
