Sunshine, rain and warmer temperatures in the forecast

If you enjoyed yesterday then you will really like today! Today will feature more sunshine as highs will be slightly higher this afternoon ranging from 50°-57°. After today we will start to see a system slide in from the south that will bring us scattered showers on Thursday. We continue to see a southward trend of this rain, so it appears that south of I-64 will have the best chance at rain with north of I-64 with only a slight chance of rain. All of the rain should work out of the area by Friday morning leaving us with a dry afternoon with partial clearing. With that said, it looks like everything is good to go for Keeneland's opening day.

Into the weekend we find temperatures above average, believe it or not. I'm not exactly sure how long it has been since we have been able to say that, but it's been a while. Highs in the mid 60s on Saturday with partly cloudy skies. Sunday will show more clouds than sun with a slight chance of rain as highs climb near 70°. Early next week we are looking at temperatures in the lower to mid 70s! Sounds like music to our ears, right? It's give and take though as we could see a few thunderstorms to go along with the abnormally warm air.
