Surveillance released in bizarre Laurel County burglary

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT/WYMT) - Police hope some newly-released surveillance pictures will help them catch the man who broke into a store through a roof.

The Laurel County Sheriff's office sent us pictures Wednesday night, taken from the Git & Go Sunday night.

Investigators say the burglar cut a hole in the roof, and dropped down inside the store.

They say he was spooked when he set off the alarm system, and ran off without taking anything.
