Threat made at Anderson County High School

WKYT has learned a that Anderson County High School received a threat from a student.

ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky (WKYT) - WKYT has learned a that Anderson County High School received a threat from a student.

School officials tell WKYT there was no immediate danger to any students or staff. Parents were notified of the investigation.

Anderson County Sheriff's Office confirms that a juvenile has been taken into custody and charged with Terroristic Threatening 2nd Degree and Intimidating a Participant in a Legal Process.

The Anderson County Schools Superintendent tells us she cannot released the name or age of the student involved.
