Tractor trailer carrying 20,000 pounds of toilet paper crashes in Laurel County

The crash happened around noon Monday on Interstate 75 northbound, near London.

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Emergency crews spent hours Monday cleaning up a crash involving a tractor trailer hauling toilet paper on Interstate 75.

The crash happened around noon in the northbound lanes near the 44 mile marker.

Kentucky State Police say the driver of the tractor trailer swerved to miss a dog that ran onto the interstate, causing him to lose control and crash.

Police say the tractor trailer was hauling 20,000 pounds of toilet paper. Crews spent two hours cleaning up debris caused by the crash.

The driver was not seriously injured.
