WILMORE, Ky. (WKYT) - It's a memorial to honor veterans who served in Vietnam. A traveling replica of the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Wall will be on display in Wilmore starting on Friday. The wall was escorted to the Thompson Hood Veteran Center, a nursing center for Kentucky veterans, on Thursday.

Tom Twigg and his wife travel thousands of miles each year in order to display the wall. It takes about three hours to set it up. They say the work is worth it.

"We only touch one person each place we go, we've accomplished what we set out to do. That's
give them closure," says Twigg.

There are 58, 179 names on the wall.
