A semi fire shutdown a stretch of Interstate 75 in Whitley County Friday morning.
The crash happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 between MM 16 and MM 18.
The driver told Whitley County Emergency Management that a tire blowout caused the fire.
The fire also caused a fuel spill that crews had to clean up.
