LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - There is some good news tonight on a story we've been tracking since a Lexington teenager was critically injured while riding her bike more than two weeks ago.
WKYT is told Shaina Witt's condition has improved from critical, to serious.
Witt was hit by a car at the busy Boston Road and Man O'War intersection while riding against traffic.
She faced life threatening injuries and was in a drug-induced coma at UK hospital for some time following the accident.
