LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The rain didn't keep folks away from the Blue Grass Airport on Saturday for an aviation education expo.
The expo was held by the aviation museum of Kentucky and historic World War II and Vietnam-era aircraft were on display.
One volunteer says there's a broad spectrum of jobs he hopes that people will join in the aviation field.
"People tend to think that pilots are the bulk of aviation and pilots are a very small area of aviation. It takes so many different people and so many different jobs," says, Gerry Landreth, a volunteer.
If you missed the expo on Saturday due to the rain, you can catch the planes tomorrow from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
