LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - There is a water main break on Leestown Road. It's located in the area where construction is underway.
A construction crew hit a water line, causing the break. Water was shooting into the air for more than three hours. Kentucky American finally made repairs to get it to stop around 10:30.
Lots of the water flowed toward the VA Hospital. Officials there say the break isn't affecting patient care, but is flooding a field on the property. Regular appointments will continue as scheduled.
