He's known as the "bad hair bandit." 32-year-old Jason Fox learned Thursday how long he will spend behind bars for robbing seven banks.
Police say Fox committed the robberies in southern Kentucky and Tennessee in 2011. A U.S. District Judge sentenced him to 20 years in jail for seven separate counts of bank robbery and armed bank robbery. Fox was also ordered to pay $80,000 dollars in restitution.
Fox's wife, 28-year-old Tasha Fox was sentenced to ten years in prison for aiding and abetting. She admitted to driving the getaway car in four of the robberies.
