Woman accused of abusing disabled adult pleads not guilty

POWELL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A woman accused of abusing a disabled adult in her care was in court Wednesday morning.

Investigators in Powell County say Ruby Richardson didn't feed the special needs woman properly, which caused her to start eating dog food.

Richardson's lawyers entered a not guilty plea on her behalf Wednesday.

He also asked for a reduced bond, but the judge denied it.
