Woman arrested for violent shoplifting incident in Richmond

MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A store employee ended up being hit by a car twice during a violent shopliting incident in Madison County.

31-year-old Dawn estes of Irvine is facing robbery and endangerment charges in Richmond.

Police arrested her for an incident that happened at the Kohl's last month.
According to police, Estes stole items from the store. When an employee went outside to stop her from leaving, police say Estes backed up causing the open passenger side door to hit the employee twice.

The employee was not hurt.
