LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) -- Police are searching for a woman they say tried to steal a safe from a Lexington church today.
It happened at the Total Grace Baptist Church on North Limestone. Police say the woman was caught in the act by church members, and when confronted dropped the safe, and ran away.
We're told the suspect is a white woman, about 40-years old with long blonde hair...who was wearing a gray UK sweatshirt at the time.
