LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - She says she was beaten, kidnapped and threatened by a man she used to be in a relationship with.
Juanita Snow talked with us about the terrifying ordeal which happened last month in Lincoln County.
We also spoke with the accused kidnapper who says he's innocent.
One man sits behind bars and one woman was left battered and bruised after she claims she was kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend in the middle of the night.
“He grabbed me by the back of my hair and I was screaming and crying and he dragged me through the house. Everybody there was yelling and telling him not to take me,” said Juanita Snow.
Snow says Jesse Abee drove her to an abandoned field off the curvy country roads in Lincoln County where they remained for several hours.
“We got to a place way out in the country and that’s where he stopped. There was a baseball bat and a shovel in the back and he had already dug the hole me and said he was going to kill me.”
After the incident, Abee was brought to the Lincoln County Jail where he remains.
He’s charged with kidnapping and assault but he claims he never did any of it.
“Supposedly I beat her and everything else but obviously that didn’t happen because if I did she'd be a lot worse than she is,” Jesse Abee told us from jail.
Even though Abee maintains his innocence, he's now been in jail for more than a month but he says as soon as the case goes to trial, the truth will come out.
Snow is also continuing to stick to her side of the story and has since left Lincoln County fearing for her safety.
Jesse Abee is also facing charges of burglary and terroristic threatening.
