CYNTHIANA, Ky. (AP) - Governor Fletcher and his challenger Steve Beshear have been traveling the state recently. Each has a week to convince voters that he is the right one to lead Kentucky for the next four years.
The governor told one crowd of supporters in central Kentucky yesterday that the race is all about values.
Fletcher touted his stand against casino gambling as one of the reasons that Kentuckians should choose him.
Fletcher made appearances in Georgetown, Paris, Maysville, Flemingsburg and Vanceburg.
Beshear made stops in Springfield, Bardstown, Elizabethtown and Shepherdsville, yesterday.
He leads Fletcher in media polls. Beshear said during one of his stops that if things go the way they're going right now, he's going to celebrate a tremendous victory on November sixth.
