There could be a rematch of last year's heated race for Kentucky's 6th congressional district seat.
Republican Andy Barr announced Thursday he will run again for the seat next year.
Barr lost last year's race to incumbent Democrat Ben Chandler by only 648 votes.
"Last year, we were grateful to have received the support of over 119,000 central Kentucky voters," said Barr in a news release. "I am humbled by the encouragement from supporters to make another effort."
Barr, who's a Lexington attorney, says he's running next year to address several issues, including the economy and health care.
Barr will be a guest on this weekend's edition of "Kentucky Newsmakers."
