A new statewide poll shows Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear with a strong lead in his bid for re-election.
The poll, done for CN-2, shows Beshear, a Democrat, favored for re-election by 51 percent of those surveyed.
Just under 30 percent of those surveyed say they support Republican David Williams, and less than six percent support Independent Gatewood Galbraith.
Nearly 14 percent of those surveyed say they're still unsure of who they will vote for.
Beshear's 21 point advantage comes after he started a heavy schedule of television ads across the state.
The election is November 8.
