Mitt Romney making campaign stop in Lexington

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is making a campaign stop in Lexington today.

CN2 reports the former Massachusetts governor plans to attend an evening fundraiser at the Kentucky Aviation Museum, which is at Blue Grass Airport.

The fundraiser will be hosted by coal company owner Joe Craft and Republican fundraiser Kelly Knight.

Kentucky Congressmen Hal Rogers and Ed Whitfield have endorsed Romney for president.

Just what we need, right wing extremism. I can't believe that people would vote for one of these nuts. "He's better than Obama, look at the economy," you say. When the economy started its downturn, Obama wasn't even in office. Still, it's his fault? "He didn't do anything to fix it," you say. Well, the economy is better now than it was 4 years ago. And this while the extremist party is declaring war on politics. If you think right wing or left wing or any political extremism is the solution, then you are the problem. Foolish uneducated voters and corrupt politicians being fueled by the agenda of their funding providers will be the ruin of this country. Obama is not perfect, but he's better than these right wing extremist nut jobs. One of the prevailing characteristics of your candidate should be sanity. Something these tea partiers lack.

I'm for Newt, but at least Romney isn't afraid to come here. Obama wouldn't come here to campaign and has just tip-toed across the river on one occasion and to Fort Campbell on a couple of others just coz he had to. Maybe it's because he has so little in common with us.

Romney is the only choice the repubs have and they wont vote for him because he is a Latter Days Saint. All of the teathuglicans want to have one person in charge of the entire country, a greedy dictator. Womens rights, workers rights, minority rights, elderly rights, poor people rights, religious rights, and any thing else you can think of will be a thing of the past if the rightwing nuts get complete control.

Jennifer, who do you think would be better? This does not necessarily mean I am endorsing Romney.

John, nobody on the Republican ticket appeals to me. That being said, President Obama for a second term is my best choice, and he's far better for Kentucky than McCain was 3 years ago, and far better than anybody else running.
