Miller Makes Exit From Governor's Race Official

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - State Treasurer Jonathan Miller has made his withdrawal from the governor's race official. Miller today filed the necessary paperwork with the secretary of state's office.

His exit leaves six Democrats in the primary race.

Miller announced Monday that he was leaving the race, citing sagging poll numbers and dwindling campaign cash.

Miller, a two-time state treasurer, endorsed one of his opponents, former Lieutenant Governor Steve Beshear.
