Broncos tight end speaking at Governor's Prayer Breakfast

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - NFL tight end Jacob Tamme of the Denver Broncos will deliver the keynote address at the Governor's Prayer Breakfast next month in Frankfort.

Tamme is a Danville native who played college football at the University of Kentucky before being drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in 2008.

The March 13 event at the Frankfort Convention Center will also feature music, special readings and a "Kentucky Proud" breakfast. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. EST, and the program starts at 8 a.m.

Tickets are $10 each at the door or $125 in advance for a reserved table of eight. For more information, visit http://governor.ky.gov/prayerbreakfast .

Gov. Steve Beshear's office says the breakfast is a long-standing tradition and dates back to 1965. Representatives of all three branches of government are included in the nondenominational event.
