Republican U.S. Senate candidate Rand Paul says he will debate one last time with democratic U.S. Senate candidate Jack Conway.
Thursday, he told reporters he still hasn't decided whether he'll face off in one last debate with Conway. Paul raised the possibility Monday of backing out of the final scheduled debate in protest of a Conway TV ad. That commercial links Paul to a secret group years ago that mocked Christianity at Baylor University.
He'll join in the debate scheduled for Monday night, October 25, on Kentucky Educational Television. He says he is talking it over with family and campaign aides.
The two have met in four debates so far during the fall campaign season.
Paul continues to refer to the Conway ad as shameful and appalling, and said that a person's faith should be a private matter. Conway has said he's sticking behind the ad, claiming Paul has yet to answer the questions the ad raised about the group.
