NEW YORK (AP) - An independent group supporting Republican Mitt Romney is launching a major TV advertising push in four presidential battleground states.
American Crossroads is set to announce the new ad campaign Wednesday. The spot, titled "Four More," says Americans would face more taxes, greater debt and higher unemployment if President Barack Obama is re-elected.
The ad says, quote: "Another four years focused on everything but jobs? No thanks."
American Crossroads is a super PAC with ties to former President George W. Bush's longtime political adviser Karl Rove. The group plans to spend $7.4 million to run the new ad in Colorado, Florida, North Carolina and Ohio.
Crossroads and its affiliated outfit, Crossroads GPS, announced earlier this year plans to spend as much as $300 million on ads to influence the 2012 elections.
