A rally is being planned by those supporting a bill that would require a prescription for some cold medicines.
Those supporting the legislation plan to gather in the Capitol rotunda February 3 at 2:30pm.
The bill would require a prescription for drugs with pseudoephedrine, Like Sudafed. It would also limit how much you can get.
Those against the bill argue it would put an unfair hardship on law abiding citizens who need cold medicine, but police agencies disagree. Kentucky State Police say about 77%t of pseudoephedrine sales in Kentucky are used to make meth.
