Voting begins in Campaign 2010

Steady turnout and some lines are being reported at polling places around central Kentucky Tuesday morning.

Voting started at 6 a.m. with Kentucky races drawing national attention on the ballot.

In the U.S. Senate, Democrat Jack Conway is running against Republican and Tea Party favorite Rand Paul in a race that has resulted in nasty, mud-slinging ads and debates.

In the U.S. House, Democrats are widely expected to lose their majority with all 435 seats up for grabs.

That has made for a heated rivalry between Republican Andy Barr and incumbent and Democrat Ben Chandler.

Polls close at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
