After nearly three decades in the same place, a popular Lexington restaurant is moving.
Dudley's plans on moving to Short Street, across from Cheapside Park.
Right now the restaurant is in Dudley Square off Maxwell Street.
The owner plans on closing the current location at the end of October, and re-opening on Short street in December.
The Lexington Herald Leader reports another, undisclosed, locally owned restaurant will take over the old Dudley's location.

Hurray for Debbie Long, a fine forward thinking business person! I hope the city decides to close a section of Mill as planned to help create a more vibrant downtown for our fair city. We need more smart risk takers following Debbie's lead.
