A Lexington man will be remembered Saturday for bringing generations of people to their feet.
Bob Degen died Monday on his 104th birthday.
He'll always be known for a little song he wrote more than 60 years ago, "The Hokey Pokey.
Despite claims of authorship by others, the Library of Congress confirms Degen wrote the popular dance tune in 1944, while playing in a band in Pennsylvania.
Degen will be honored in a private service Saturday, in Lexington.
