Lexington man killed in motorcycle crash

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKTY) -- A man was killed early this morning after a motorcycle crash involving a pickup truck.

Officials say Brandon Morrison, 40, was killed around 4:00AM this morning at the intersection of Greendale Road and Leestown Road.

We're told he was riding the bike without a helmet when he went through a red light and collided into a GMC pickup truck.

Investigators believe the motorcyclist was speeding, and believe he was riding while under the influence of alcohol.

Funeral arrangements are pending.
