CHICAGO (AP) - It's not often that the top two teams in the AP college basketball poll clash, especially this early in the season. But it will happen tonight in Chicago when number-one Kentucky takes on second-rated Michigan State.
The Wildcats have won their first two games of the season while the Spartans are 1-0. The second part of that doubleheader at the United Center is not too shabby either: Fourth-rated Duke takes on number-five Kansas.
Both of the match-ups in Chicago air on ESPN.
There's one other match-up of ranked teams tonight with number-11 Florida facing number-20 Wisconsin.
Number-three Louisville looks to improve on its 2-0 start with a game against Hofstra.
The rest of the busy schedule has number-seven Michigan against South Carolina State, number-eight Oklahoma State facing Utah Valley, Ohio challenging number-10 Ohio State, number-14 VCU at Virginia, 17th-rated Marquette against Grambling State, number-23 Baylor taking on South Carolina and number-24 UCLA facing Oakland.
